Lavradores de Feitoria, a winery with history

Lavradores de Feitoria is a winery founded in 2000 that is dedicated to the production of high quality wines in the Douro region. Its name comes from the association of fifteen producers who started working together in wine production. It currently has more than 500 hectares of vineyards in different areas of the region, which allows it to offer wines with a wide variety of characteristics and personalities.

“Winemaker for a day” experience

This experience offers the unique opportunity to create your own blend and bottle a personalised product. The experience begins with a guided tour of the winery, followed by a tasting of three wines to learn more about the impact of terroir and vinification on the final result of the wine. This is followed by the creation of the blend, which is then bottled and labelled to take home as a souvenir.

A day at the harvest

During the harvest season, Lavradores de Feitoria offers the experience “A day at the harvest” for groups of more than four people. The experience includes a brief introduction to the grape harvest and the delivery of the material necessary to harvest the grapes. The participants then pick the grapes in the vineyard and take them to the winery for processing. After the harvest, there is a guided tour of the winery and a wine tasting accompanied by regional products.

In general, the wine tourism experiences at Lavradores de Feitoria focus on offering a complete experience to visitors, ranging from the history and culture of wine in the region to the elaboration and tasting of the wines.
