For the fourth consecutive year, Feria de Valladolid is organising FINE #WineTourismExpo #Marketplace, an event that highlights the tourism sector linked to the wine experience. This event will bring together wineries, wine routes, tour operators and international tourism agencies with the aim of reaching commercial agreements.
Wine tourism is a booming sector in many European countries such as Spain, Italy, Portugal or France, however, its influence is also expanding to other territories worldwide, such as Latin America.
Wine production began in Latin America after the conquest, initiating a strong wine culture that has lasted until the present day. The great fame of its products has led to a boom in tourism experiences related to the wine sector, ranging from visits to wineries to wine tastings, and other innovative expereriences. Such is its impact that it is estimated that this sector will reach revenues of around 13 million dollars by 2026.
Experts point to an increase in demand for authentic experiences, including wine tastings or purchases, visits to wineries and vineyards, as well as other alternative activities. This fact, related to the sector in Latin America, is also applicable to other countries with a wine tradition.
The growing need for innovation justifies the celebration of FINE #WineTourismExpo. This international event will be held on 1 and 2 March 2023 at Feria de Valladolid and will create a space where wine tourism professionals will be able to network while receiving training on the sector at the #BeFine conference.
