Valladolid Town Hall has confirmed its attendance at the first edition of Shooting Locations Marketplace. This is the international event where audiovisual industry companies and scenaries and destinations location managers will meet. The event will take place next October at Feria de Valladolid.
Valladolid is a city of film recognised by the Unesco Network of Creative Cities and appointed as “Creative City of Film”. The main example of this vinculation is the International Film Festival of Valladolid, Seminci, internationally recognised with a long cinephile tradition. This territory has attracted producers from Bollywood or Japan, and filmmakers such as Orson Welles or Mario Camus.
In the words of the Mayor of Valladolid, Shooting Locations Marketplace reinforces the city commitment to attract the audiovisual industry, both from a territorial and strategic point of view, and comes at a sweet moment for the sector, with the “Spain Audiovisual Hub Plan”.
Shooting Locations Marketplace, a project developed by Feria de Valladolid endorsed by the Spain Film Commission, has an international scope. Today international and national destinations as Canary Islands, La Rioja, Navarra, Mallorca, United Kingdom, Costa Blanca, Portugal, Castille and León, Valence, Castile-La Mancha, Andalusia, Catalonia or Brussels have confirmed their attendance.
