The British Film Commission has confirmed its participation next October in Valladolid (Spain) in Shooting Locations Marketplace. This is the first edition of this business forum in which audio-visual industry and filming destinations for movies, television, advertising, etc. will meet.

Among the film shootings undertaken in the British Film Commission territory are series such as Peaky Blinders, Outlander, The Crown, Black Mirror and films such as Mary Poppins Returns, Star Wars: The Last Jedi or Kingsman: The Golden Circle

Shooting Locations Marketplace, a project developed by Feria de Valladolid with the collaboration of Spain Film Commission, was born with an international outlook “and the presence of the British Film Commission, as well as the assistance of important locators from the United States, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Romania, etc. supports that goal”, explains the general manager of Feria de Valladolid, Alberto Alonso.

Destinations such as the Canary Islands, Mallorca, La Rioja, Navarra, Costa Blanca, Castilla y León, Valencia, among other Film Commissions, will also be in Shooting Locations Marketplace.

The Film Commission are entities, generally non-profit, linked to public administrations (city councils, regions, autonomous communities) whose main objective is to attract filming to their territory. Thus, this contributes to the development and the strengthening of its surrounding audio-visual industry.
