Screen Brussels Film Commission, the filming destination form Brussels has confirmed its attendance at the first edition of Shooting Locations Marketplace. It is an event with international scope in which audiovisual industry and scenaries and ambientations locators could meet. The event will celebrate next October at Feria de Valladolid.
The main mission of the screen.brussels film commission is to facilitate all types of filming in the Brussels region. As part of visit.brussels, it has been serving as an interface between location managersn local and regional authorities since 2005. Concretely, it analyses the feasibility of filming projects, helps to get the permits, forwards parking space reservations, scouts for sets and locations and answers any questions related to filming. It is also in charge of promoting the region as a location during major industry events.
Some projects filmed in Brussels are “Undercover”, “Ghost Tropic”, “Les Miserables” or “The Danish Girl”. They have several databases that counts with a bunch of interesting locations depending on the characteristics of your interest and a list of professionals in accordance with the activity needed.
Shooting Locations Marketplace, a project developed by Feria de Valladolid endorsed by the Spain Film Commission, has an international scope. Today international and national destinations as Canary Islands, La Rioja, Navarra, Mallorca, United Kingdom, Costa Blanca, Portugal, Castille and León and Valence have confirmed their attendance.
