The Costa Blanca Film Commission has confirmed its attendance to the first edition of Shooting Locations Marketplace, which will take place next October at Feria de Valladolid. It is an important event for international and national location managers of scenaries since it allows negotiations with the audiovisual industry.
Created by de Diputation of Alicante, offers information, advice and processing facilities to the professionals of this industry. With 219 kms of coast and wide ranging landscapes, it is a destination with a combination of dynamic and attractive scenaries, communications and services.
The Costa Banca has received many productions of movies, short films, piblicity… some famous examples are “Asterix at the Olympic Games”, “Summer Rain”, “Torrente 4: Lethal crisis” or “The End”.
Film Commissions are generally nonprofit entities, vinculated to public administrations (city councils, autonomous regions…) which main objective is the recruitment of shootings in their territory. This contributes to the development and strengthening of the audiovisual industry in the environment.
Shooting Locations Marketplace, a project developed by Feria de Valladolid endorsed by the Spain Film Commission, has an international scope. Today international and national destinations as Canary Islands, La Rioja, Navarra, Mallorca, United Kingdom, Castille and León and Valence have confirmed their attendance.
