Menorca Film Commission will attend SHOOTING LOCATIONS MARKETPLACE on the 20th and 21st of October. This pioneering event, organised by Feria de Valladolid and Spain Film Commission, will bring together production companies, location scouts, national and international filming destinations and service providers in the same space with the aim of promoting commercial agreements.
One of the participants will be the Menorca Film Commission. This recently created entity offers a multitude of locations for filming audiovisual and cinematographic productions, and aspires to be the most important natural set in the Mediterranean.
In this territory we find dream beaches, military fortresses, stately palaces, archaeological sites and villages with Mediterranean character; without a doubt, a paradise for professionals in the audiovisual sector.
Moreover, filming in Menorca allows you to save time due to the short distances, enjoy a mild climate with more than 300 days of sunshine a year and be able to choose from an interesting range of production services. Television series, commercials, documentaries and feature films have found the perfect filming set in Menorca, contributing to the growth of the island’s audiovisual sector.
The Menorca Film Commission offers a free public service provided by the Fundació Foment del Turisme de Menorca, which promotes and facilitates filming on the island. The Menorca Film Commission offers advice to production companies and professionals, acts as an intermediary with the administrations that manage the different venues and promotes the projection of Balearic productions abroad.
