Film France-CNC, you’re one stop shop

Film France-CNC, the French film commission, is a department of the CNC (the National Center for Cinema and the Moving Image) supporting foreign productions and individuals preparing to film in France through the following free services:

  • Guidance about everything a foreign production needs to know about basing its project in France
  • Expertise on the Tax Rebate for International Productions (TRIP) and assessment of projects’ eligibility
  • Assistance with location scouting, shoots, animation, VFX and postproduction work in France.
  • Connection with expertise: a strong network of 36 local film commissions and industry professionals.
  • Advice on production related regulations and permits, including visas.
