720 km of Atlantic coastline, 4 commercial harbours, 10 airports (7 international) Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region is easily accessible and very attractive.  From Bordeaux through mountains, coastlines, vineyards, authentic villages, countrysides and beautiful little towns, you will find every kind of locations you are looking for !

The regional film commission coordinates a network of 8 local film commissions providing a service as close as possible to the needs of productions companies and dealing with any logistical questions you have regarding your shooting:

• Search of any kind of locations through our database and the network of the local film commissions
• Shooting permits
• Search of local talents/crew members (around 1500 people)
• Lists of service providers and post-production companies that are working on post-production, VFX and Animation.

Fund and tax facilities

The TRIP (Tax Rebate for International Productions) granted by the CNC (French National Center for Cinema, TV and the moving image), up to 40%, designed for big budgets as well as small projects, for feature films, shorts, VR, VFX, and animation projects made entirely or partly in France

The Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region and ALCA, its public agency, also support international projects and coproductions in collaboration with their local professionals through the film fund ( minority coproduction) .
