The Andalusia Film Commission, a non-profit institution, has worked tirelessly since 1998 to promote Andalusia as an exceptional filming location, supporting companies and professionals in the audiovisual industry with the logistics of their productions.

One of the key missions of the Andalusia Film Commission is to inform about possible locations in Andalusia and coordinate the audiovisual industry and production companies with the government.

This work not only seeks to promote filming but also to attract tourism, generating a beneficial economic impact for the Andalusian region. Additionally, thanks to agreements with public and private institutions from different provinces of Andalusia, the Network of Film Cities has emerged, providing exceptional coverage of the audiovisual production needs throughout Andalusia.

During the next edition of Shooting Locations Marketplace, which takes place on October 17 and 18, those interested will have a unique opportunity to get to know in depth the proposal that Andalusia has to offer to the cinematic and television world.

Andalusia, all environments in a single region

Andalusia is a land of contrasts. From the Tabernas Desert in Almería, the only desert in Europe and the setting for iconic spaghetti westerns, to the golden beaches of El Playazo in Níjar, through the monumental Alhambra in Granada, the most impressive Arab legacy in the West.

But it is not only a place of landscapes; it’s a place of stories. The streets of the Cuevas District in Guadix, with its houses dug into the mountain, or the historic Real Alcázar in Seville, have witnessed shootings that have catapulted them to international fame.

From the Peñaflor Palace in Écija, through the contemporary architecture of the Sevilla Tower to the Andalusian charm of the streets of Alájar, every corner tells a story waiting to be captured by the camera.
