Castilla y León Film Commission is going to attend the first edition of Shooting Locations Marketplace that is going to be celebrated next October at Feria de Valladolid. This event is an international meeting in which audiovisual market companies and location managers of shooting scenaries and ambientations will have the opportunity to meet.
Castilla y León Film Commission provides information, facilities and contacts to those film production and other companies in this market. Thanks to the options and characteristics of the territory, it is posible to create different scenaries based in any country or period.
This territory has received local shootings but also great international titles such as “El Cid”, “The Pride and the Passion”, “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly”… exposing its environment riches of scenaries, historical buildings, ambientations…
Film Commissions are generally nonprofit entities, vinculated to public administrations (city councils, autonomous regions…) which main objective is the recruitment of shootings in their territory. This contributes to the development and strengthening of the audiovisual industry in the environment.
Shooting Locations Marketplace, a project developed by Feria de Valladolid endorsed by the Spain Film Commission, has an international scope. Today international and national destinations as Canary Islands, La Rioja, Navarra, Costa Blanca, United Kingdom, Mallorca and Valence have confirmed their attendance.
