La Rioja Film Commission will participate in the first edition of Shooting Locations Marketplace, which will take place next October at Feria de Valladolid. It is an international event in which audiovisual industry companies and scenaries and destinations location managers will meet.
La Rioja Film Commission provides complete services for movies, audiovisual projects or publicity shootings at an enviroment characterised by the gastronomy and winery culture in La Rioja. This Film Commission offers tax incentives to international and national shootings, as well as advantages in terms of low production costs.
In its portfolio there are shootings of documentaries as “Go, Spain!”, music videos of international artists as La Casa Azul or Malú and also photo shoting.
Film Commissions are generally nonprofit entities, vinculated to public administrations (city councils, autonomous regions…) which main objective is the recruitment of shootings in their territory. This contributes to the development and strengthening of the audiovisual industry in the environment.
Shooting Locations Marketplace, a project developed by Feria de Valladolid endorsed by the Spain Film Commission, comes up with international vocation. Today have already comfirmed its participation international and national destinations as Mallorca, Canary Islands, Navarra, Costa Blanca, United Kingdom, Castille and León and Valence.
