The Spanish Association of Advertising Producers (APCP) and Feria de Valladolid will collaborate on the first edition of Shooting Locations Marketplace, the forum for film industry professionals and shooting locations to be held on 21 and 22 October 2021.
APCP, which represents the country’s top advertising producers, emphasises the important role that advertising film production plays in the economy in Spain and around the world. This industry nourishes and interacts with a host of other sectors, including the various advertisers and agencies, equipment rental, transport, hair and makeup, textile and set design companies, as well as the hospitality and restaurant industries, among others.
As Shooting Locations Marketplace is an international project geared towards the entire film sector, having the participation and representation of Spanish advertising producers is critical.
‘It’s a pleasure to cooperate with APCP on Shooting Locations Marketplace. We want every segment of film production to be represented, and advertising films play an important role, as reflected, for example, in the Advertising Film Production Days held every year during the Valladolid International Film Festival’, said Alberto Alonso, managing director of Feria de Valladolid.
Shooting Locations Marketplace aims to give the sector’s shooting locations, producers and suppliers a commercial and business platform as well as a space for the exchange of knowledge.
‘Once again, we are proud to see and be part of the work being promoted in Valladolid and to continue participating in it. We are thrilled to have a national platform with international projection that will surely be of great value to shooting locations, producers, services and suppliers’, said Albert Soler, president of APCP.
