The Junta de Castilla y León organized a ‘fam trip’ from October 17 to 22 as part of the IV edition of Shooting Locations Marketplace. During this itinerary, 10 international location scouts from the United States, Belgium, Germany, and the United Kingdom toured several provinces in the region: Burgos, Soria, Valladolid, and Segovia.

Participants included art directors, producers, and location scouts involved in major international projects. Additionally, six Indian producers joined the ‘Spain-India Film Co-production Meeting.’

This ‘fam trip’ is designed to highlight the cultural and architectural wealth of the region, showcasing its urban settings and natural landscapes. Participants have had the opportunity to explore various locations, discovering both historical heritage and contemporary architecture, which allows them to envision Castilla y León’s potential as a filming destination.

The initiative underscores the commitment of the Department of Culture, Tourism, and Sports to attract audiovisual productions. The Castilla y León Film Commission provides information, permits, and support to producers, coordinating with local film commissions to offer personalized assistance. This support has attracted major international productions, demonstrating the region’s ability to meet filmmakers’ needs.
