- Organised by Valladolid Trade Exhibition Centre and Spain Film Commission, will gather location scouts, location managers, executive producers and international film commissions
Valladolid. May 2024.
Valladolid Trade Exhibition Centre and Spain Film Commission are already working together for the fourth edition of Shooting Locations Marketplace, the audiovisual industry professionals event for the location managers, scouts, producers and both filming destinations and private companies interested in promoting themselves for filming projects, tv shows, music videos, etc.
Last years’ edition was clearly aligned with its international scope, having participating 36 national and 9 international filming destinations, as well as private companies and 69 location managers, scouts and executive producers. Overall, professionals from fifteen countries gathered in Feria de Valladolid, attending almost one thousand pre scheduled meetings, conferences, presentations, as well as post fam tours to scout and see for themselves the filming possibilities the territories can offer.
The fourth edition of Shooting Locations Marketplace will take place in October 15th and 16th, and as a novelty, this year the hosted buyers program will also apply for film and production designers.
This way, film commissions will be broadening their target list and meeting new profiles in their prescheduled appointments, adding value to this Marketplace by offering them the possibility to pitch their destinations to film and production designers, that play a significant role when it comes to choosing the filming Locations.
