Shooting Locations Marketplace convenes its third edition for October

• Event for location scouts and shooting destinations organized by Feria de Valladolid and Spain Film Commission

Feria de Valladolid and Spain Film Commission announce the third edition of Shooting Locations Marketplace to be held next October, specifically on the 17th and 18th. This is the main event on the filming industry of all those held in Spain and one of the most important in Europe; an event open to the participation of professionals dedicated to the search for locations and destinations, both public and private, capable of hosting filming of all kinds.

Shooting Locations Marketplace has the format of a business forum in which meetings between destinations and location scouts from the audiovisual industry take place, and which is also attended by representatives of other agents involved in the filming industry. This is an international event, which last year was attended by professionals from countries such as the United States, Norway, Malta, Jordan, Poland, Great Britain and Abu Dhabi, in addition to Spain.

After the good results of previous editions, Shooting Locations Marketplace is committed to continue growing both in the number of destinations and in the professional profiles participating “in order to offer content of high interest to attendees and consolidate this event in the international audiovisual scene,” said Alberto Alonso, general manager of Feria de Valladolid.

The president of the Spain Film Commission, Carlos Rosado, referred to “the boost that Shooting Locations Marketplace offers to the positioning of Spain as a destination for international filming, a project highlighted within the Spain Audiovisual Hub Plan promoted by the Vice-Presidency of Economic Affairs of the Government of Spain as part of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan financed with Next-Generation EU funds”.
