A gem to highlight? The Tejo Wine Route 118

Initiated in 2021 by the Tejo Regional Wine Commission (CVR Tejo) and with the support of the Alentejo and Ribatejo Regional Tourism Entity, the Tejo Wine Route 118 is an innovative project that promotes the wines and territory of the Tejo.

This route stretches for approximately 150 km, crossing landscapes painted with history and nature, along the left bank of the Tejo River, and includes seven municipalities: Abrantes, Constância, Chamusca, Alpiarça, Almeirim, Salvaterra de Magos, and Benavente.

On the path of the Tejo Wine Route 118, visitors have the opportunity to meet 14 wine producers who open their doors for tastings and guided tours. The experiences offered go beyond wine tasting: participating in grape harvests, grape stomping, and even olive picking are possible activities on the farms that produce oil.

These activities unite tradition and innovation, providing a complete immersion in the wine culture of the region.

For those interested in enjoying this route full of flavours and learning, it is essential to book visits in advance.
