Protos joins the third edition of FINE #Winetourismexpo on March 1 and 2 at Feria de Valladolid. Protos wineries was founded in 1927 and opened its doors to the public in 2009, becoming the most visited winery in the Ribera del Duero region.

Protos has different alternatives of visits for wine tourists to choose according to their preferences. Visits include a tour of both wineries, Ribera del Duero and Rueda, and a visit to the shrine “El Círculo de los Primeros” which pays tribute to those personalities who embody the spirit of “being the first” and a tasting or sampling of its red and white wines, more technical or initiation, depending on the public at the end of the tour.

The tour of the aging cellar runs along 2 kilometers of subway galleries located under the mountain where the Peñafiel Castle sits and connects with the new winery designed by the prestigious architect Richard Rogers.
