Junta de Castilla y León is participating in FINE #Winetourismexpo
Junta de Castilla y León is participating in FINE #Winetourismexpo on March 1 and 2 at Feria de Valladolid, presenting its Wine Routes as wine tourism options.
Castilla y León is the autonomous community with the most certified Wine Routes in Spain and, therefore, a national benchmark in wine tourism. The Wine Routes of Spain are an innovative, thematic, cultural, gastronomic and inland tourism product, based on the integration of tourist resources and services of interest in a wine-growing area and based on a strategy of integral socioeconomic development of the territory, public-private cooperation and enhancement of the identity and wine-growing culture of the destination. Viticulture is the thematic axis of this product and tourists perceive it during all stages of their trip and in any component of the tourism value chain that constitutes the route.
The region has nine wine routes certified by ACEVIN, each of them adapted to the territories of its wine appellations and their cultural, gastronomic and natural singularities.
