FINE, the international wine tourism fair, presents its fifth edition at Fitur

Feria de Valladolid presents to tour operators and travel agencies the next edition of FINE, the International Wine Tourism Fair, to be held on March 13 and 14, with the participation of around 140 wineries and territories from Spain, Portugal and Italy.

FINE is an event for professionals that articulates its contents around a contracting market that will be attended by a hundred tour operators from 23 countries in Europe, Asia, America and Oceania. The presentation took place at the stand of the Spanish Confederation of Travel Agencies (CEAV) at Fitur.

The fifth edition of FINE increases both the number of wineries and routes and the number of national and international buyers, so that the map of wine tourism regions has been expanded with the incorporation of Las Marcas, from Italy, the Ferrer Miranda group, Abadía da Cova and Marqués de Riscal, among others.

The general manager of Feria de Valladolid, Alberto Alonso, pointed out that “the FINE map in 2024 is more extensive, more varied and therefore more attractive for tour operators and agencies that will find the best content to prepare tourist packages for the coming season, trips and getaways that will reach the public in the coming months”.

Portugal will maintain its important presence through some thirty wineries that will be attending with Viniportugal and the routes of the Centro, Porto and Norte regions.

Regarding FINE’s conference program, this year it will kick off with a lecture by Paul Wagner, renowned analyst on world wine tourism, author of the phrase “wine tourism does not exist, there is only tourism”, who will talk, among other issues, about trends and models of success in different regions of the world.

FINE is organized by Feria de Valladolid and has the support of companies and institutions such as Turespaña, Valladolid City Council, Valladolid Provincial Council, the wineries Abadía Retuerta, Dehesa de los Canónigos, Protos, Grupo Ferrer Miranda, Bodegas Alvear, the Spanish Wine Federation, Acevin, CEAV, etc.
