FINE, the International Wine Tourism Fair, to Present Its Upcoming Edition at Fitur
FINE, the International Wine Tourism Fair, will host its sixth edition on March 5 and 6 in Valladolid. This event welcomes participation from wineries, hotels, wine routes, wine tourism destinations, tour operators, and travel agencies specializing in this niche sector.
The details of the upcoming event will be unveiled on Wednesday at Fitur, at the Turespaña stand, during a presentation featuring representatives from institutions collaborating with FINE. Speakers will include Blanca Jiménez, Valladolid City Council’s Councilor for Tourism, Events, and City Branding; the Deputy for Employment, Economic Development, and the Demographic Challenge of the Valladolid Provincial Council; and Natalia Briales, Head of the Cultural Tourism and Content Marketing Division at Turespaña.
Alberto Alonso, General Director of Feria de Valladolid, emphasized FINE’s global scope, its specialized and professional focus, and its contribution to positioning the region as an international wine tourism destination. “We were pioneers in organizing an event of this kind. We embraced an innovative model and have become the benchmark for professionals in the sector,” Alonso stated.
The sixth edition promises “positive prospects, with an attractive national and international lineup featuring around 140 wineries, hotels, and wine routes from Spain, Italy, Portugal, France, and Slovenia—which will participate for the first time. Attendees will see iconic names from wineries, hotels, and routes that lead the industry across diverse wine tourism regions.”
On the demand side, expectations include the participation of 85 tour operators and travel agencies specializing in this market segment. The event will feature representatives from countries such as the United States, Great Britain, Germany, Australia, Argentina, the Nordic countries, Mexico, the Baltic states, and others.
The program of FINE also includes conferences, round tables, and workshops. This year’s discussions will focus on “wine tourisms,” exploring various approaches to its development, future challenges, risks associated with uniformity, and other key topics.
Enrique Valero, General Director of Abadía Retuerta LeDomaine, will also take part in the FINE 2025 presentation. He will share the private sector’s perspective on the evolution of FINE since its inception and provide insights into the demands of the international market.
FINE is organized by Feria de Valladolid and supported by companies and institutions such as Turespaña, Valladolid City Council, Valladolid Provincial Council, the Regional Government of Castilla y León, and prominent wineries including Abadía Retuerta, Dehesa de los Canónigos, Protos, Grupo Ferrer Miranda, Bodegas Alvear, as well as the Spanish Wine Federation and the Spanish Confederation of Travel Agencies.
