Through its wine museum and a series of themed spaces, visitors embark on an educational and sensory journey that encompasses the history, culture and winemaking process.

WOW’s wine tourism proposal

WOW’s wine tourism experience is centred on “The Wine Experience”, a museum dedicated to the world of wine that offers an educational and entertaining journey through the history and process of winemaking, from vine to bottle.

This journey begins with an exploration of the conditions essential to vineyard production globally, covering soil types, grafting, and the constitution of the grape and vineyard, through to harvesting, winery production, cooperage and bottling.

The museum is notable for its ability to present the full life cycle of wine in an educational and entertaining way, including attractions such as a giant grape, a real Bedford van and an art gallery.

In addition, the first floor of the museum is dedicated exclusively to Portugal and its wine regions, offering a discovery of the country’s wine diversity and richness through sensory experiences including tastings, aromas and wine tastings.

These experiences are designed for both amateurs and experienced oenophiles, ensuring that all visitors are fully immersed in the wine universe.

A commitment to education and diversity

Beyond the direct experience with wine, WOW is committed to wine education through its Wine School.
