Bodegas Arzuaga is committed to wine tourism

In the heart of the Ribera del Duero Designation of Origin, in Valladolid, lies Bodegas Arzuaga, a name synonymous with excellence and tradition in the world of wine.

Located on the La Planta estate in Quintanilla de Onésimo, this winery not only stands out for the production of renowned wines, but also for its strong commitment to wine tourism. On its 1,400 hectares, which mix rich flora and fauna with exceptional vineyards, Bodegas Arzuaga represents the perfect fusion between nature and viticulture.

Founded in the early 1990s by Florentino Arzuaga, the winery has grown under the premises of respect for the soil, climate and orientation, key elements in the production of its famous wines.

With 210 hectares of vineyards and a variety of grapes such as Tinto Fino, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Chardonnay, each bottle of Arzuaga is a masterpiece of flavour and quality.

A paradise for wine tourists

Bodegas Arzuaga’s wine tourism proposal will be on display at the next edition of Fine #WineTourism Marketplace, on 13 and 14 March.

This winery invites everyone to immerse themselves in a world where wine is the protagonist. Through tasting workshops, guided tours and unique activities, visitors can experience first-hand the magic of winemaking.

At Bodegas Arzuaga wine tourism is a complete sensory experience. Tasting workshops, led by an expert sommelier team, offer an exclusive opportunity to learn about the winery’s wines in an enjoyable and personalised way.

The master classes in small groups and the tasting of exclusive varieties such as Rosae, Fan D.Oro and Pago Florentino, accompanied by gastronomic tapas from its Michelin Star restaurant, are a sample of the richness and diversity of its wine tourism offer.

But the experience goes beyond wine tasting. The “Oenological Sensations” activity allows visitors to enter the heart of the winery, discovering the secrets of wine production, ageing and bottling.

On the other hand, “Discovering Arzuaga” offers a quick and easy tour inside the winery and its vineyards, ideal for those who want an introduction to the world of wine. In addition, the “Nature Live” experience combines a visit to the vineyards with tastings and gastronomic suggestions, offering a unique and complete sensory journey.

Another jewel in Arzuaga’s crown is its La Planta estate. Here, visitors can enjoy the largest expanse of the Golden Mile’s own vineyards, experience touching the soils at the foot of the vineyard, taste the grapes directly from the vines and understand the differences between the varieties.

The estate is also home to a hunting reserve, where wild boar, deer and mouflon coexist in a protected natural environment, adding a touch of adventure and connection with nature to the wine tourism experience.
