The Arribes Wine Route will participate in FINE #Winetourismexpo

The Arribes Wine Route will participate in FINE #Winetourismexpo on March 1 and 2 at Feria de Valladolid.

The route runs between the provinces of Salamanca and Zamora on the border with Portugal with about fourteen municipalities and the Arribes del Duero Natural Park. A landscape of great environmental richness, with steep canyons and gorges, with drops of up to 400 meters, which can be seen from many viewpoints in the visit to their vineyards or from one of the cruises along the Duero.

The route is currently made up of 65 associates that allow visitors to enjoy a complete range of experiences. It is possible to visit centenary vineyards of minority autochthonous varieties of high value. In addition to visits to 12th century wineries nestled in the rock, modern wineries and micro-wineries of independent winemakers, the route offers hiking activities, bird watching and boat cruises on the international waters of the Douro River, pottery workshops, visits to olive groves and oil tasting, cheese and artisan jam tastings and of course enjoy the typical gastronomy and products of the area in the restaurants and specialized stores associated with the route.
